This is a papier mache box covered in old linen post cards. They have a travel theme. It has an Italian millagro attached to the side.

The top is made using a round piece of sanded wood, an old cork and a vintage bauble. This makes the knob to open the box. There are fibers attached to the top as well. I then filled it with a few yards of large soft ric rac, travel ribbon and tan grosgrain ribbon with black stitching. It has a clear varnished look. You can use all the fibers and baubles, or keep it as is.

It is a treasure trove of travel embellishments.
